Tulsa is home to a growing network of freestanding birth centers dedicated to providing safe, personalized, and family-centered maternity care. In 2024, the passing of SB 1739 opened the door for Medicaid reimbursement at accredited birth centers, creating new opportunities to expand access for more families.
